Combat Role and Development Notes

The A34 Comet arrived late in the conflict and contributed to operations such as Operation Varsity in March 1945. Built from the Cromwell lineage, it featured a larger turret to accommodate a 17-pounder type gun, increasing its effectiveness against German heavy tanks. Production totals approached 900 including later models.

Scale Performance and Assembly Features

When assembled the model measures 219mm long by 88mm wide. The hull uses a vertical-plane, box-style construction that mirrors the real vehicle. Moulded turret castings, a detailed gun shield canvas effect and clear searchlight parts are included to enhance realism.
