Phillip Johnson is a Sydney based photographer who specialises in high dynamic range photography (HDR), with work featured in publications, tourism campaigns, wall mural, calendars and wall art. He is the winner of Art Unlimited Photography Prize 2012 First Prize.
It’s always great to explore the back roads of country towns, Uralla is an area in northern New South Wales, Gostwyck Chapel is located down one of those back roads. The chapel itself was built in 1921 is covered in Virginia Creeper vines which change to brilliant red once a year, the chapel is surrounded by 200 elm trees that are magnificent in Autumn. This chapel is very popular with photographers in Autumn including myself.
